The Australian Drifting Grand Prix is Australia’s national drifting series where the best drivers come to battle it out for the title of Australia’s number one drifter! 2011 was the first season of ADGP and set a new benchmark for drifting and motorsport events in Australia.

 

Drifting is a judged exhibition sport and the organisers, Track Battle Pty Ltd, capitalise on this further to provide the best automotive entertainment in Australia, taking drifting from motorsport to “Extreme-Motorsport”. In short, each round will consist of practice and qualifying on day one and the tandem battles and other competitions on day two. ADGP also takes drifting to new heights with the use of new track layouts and custom built course, like the wall scraping, bank riding, tyre smoking action at the Calder Park Thunderdome.  Other on track entertainment includes the extreme entry competition and the Top-16 drivers parade.  Further off-track entertainment is provided with:

- Pit walk

- Trade stands

- Promo girls

- Giveaways

- Corporate viewing areas

- VIP viewing areas

- Kids rides

Calder Park Thunderdome, VIC – 16th and 17th June 2012

Malalla Motorsport Park – 15th and 16th September 2012

Barbagallo Raceway, WA – 27th and 28th October 2012
